I want to go to nursing school for college, but I also would like to go to a regular college school and experience the college and greek life. It seems so much more fun, as college students you can choose to go to class, which degree you would like to study and even how you'd like to study it. greek life in college is so interesting to. it's a lot of dressing up and formals and you automatically get a family once you go there! seems like a ton of fun! i love big groups as there is always someone who wants to do something with you. More space between classesI take college classes in my high-school however they’re so packed into each other, class class lunch, class class random free period, class. It so dense in my schedule I just want to fall asleep after two classes. More space between classes would be a blessing.New Experiences Hopefully I’ll be able to go away from college, but I want to stay on the East Coast, maybe Florida! I want to experience a different place other than NYC but I’ll probably try to go to a college close to the city. I might go crazy if I’m surrounded by the suburbs/farmland. Beautiful Campuses My high-school campus is basically a box in the middle of the projects. I want to be able to find a place on the campus where I can sit and people watch/study instead of being surrounded by pure concrete and random patches of grass. Sororities! I want to join a sorority! Not a judgmental one but I’ve always dreamed of being apart of Greek life, it sounds and seems like so much fun. You instantly have a family when you go to a new place. Freedom I think this what I’m looking most forward too. Freedom to chose classes, freedom away from parents, just being an adult and choosing when and when not to come home or go out. You keep mentioning the college program, but you're 16 what is that?
My high school is special, in a sense. During 9th and 10th grade we have to complete 4 years worth of high school to be able to enter the college program. In the college program we take college classes and eventually graduate with an Associates Degree of the Arts. It’s a lot of work and I don’t necessarily like the school, just the people in it and what I get when I graduate. (:

What do you want to study when you go to college?
I want to get into Nursing, specifically Neonatal :)

why don't you study graphic designing?
I get asked this a lot, I guess I should be flattered! Unfortunately, I can’t draw, I might be able to draw a box, but that would be it. I feel like I wouldn’t thrive as much as I would if I had drawing skills as graphic designer. I may take some classes in college but that depends on which college I get accepted too/attend.

Brooklyn's Heiress Hi there! My name is Kenya and I'm a 17 year old girl from New York City, currently studying at a rigorous high school in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Currently dreaming of college, dreaming for freedom. I'm on my school's step team and love them all so much as well as my friends outside of the team. I'm a hopeless romantic, constantly dreaming, writing and reading sappy love stories and watching sappy romantic comedies. In the future, I wish to be able to go to a college along the east coast and study veterinarian practice or nursing. I love webdesign and if I'm on my laptop, you'll often see me tinkering away on Photoshop or GIMP 2.0. I want to live life to the fullest, even with all the bumps and holes along the way, because apart of being alive is feeling pain. Keep Dreaming. { Readers }
